Hi, I’m Clare. Wife to one and Mummy to Two whirlwinds, Emmy & Harry.
Being a full-time work from home Mum has its challenges, life is hectic but I wouldn’t have it any other way. With a BIG milestone birthday approaching there will be no midlife crisis here only fun and adventures.
Hitting 18 marked adulthood for me, I qualified from college with my DNN (Diploma in Nursery Nursing) and was working full-time in a day nursery and also as a mother’s help. I then went onto become a Nanny for over 14 years working for a few families in that time.
I set up a home with Paul in my 20’s and we married when we were 27. My 30’s was spent having my children, staying home and raising them while setting up my main blog www.emmysmummy.com which fast became my full-time job. Setting up a business and raising kids has been fun but also time-consuming and difficult at times, of course, I wouldn’t change that for the world. I also blog over at www.thismummysalwayswrite.com
Now with the BIG 40 approaching (December 2019), the fun and adventures are only going to get better.
Here’s to a new chapter and all that comes with it.
